First topic that was given to us was "points and lines". For this topic, I had to understand about what point and line is.
Point : - prime element in architecture vocabulary of foam
- marks a position of space
- doesn't have width, length or depth and is therefore static, sentralize directionless
Line : - a critical element in the formation of any visual construction
- it can serve to join, link, support intersect other visual elements
- it can serve to describe edges of and given shape to planes
Then, we were to choose ONE photo of interior or exterior of architecture as for the start. So, I started this by researching some interesting photos via Pinterest. I chose this interior photo and print out several pages of it.
The Photo That I Chose

POINTS

For the first task, we were to mark a dot on every part where two lines meet.
LINES

For the second task, we were to draw a normal line, dotted, or a mixture of lines and dots on the other pages of photo. To do this, we had to sew with white threads. I used both straight lines and dotted lines. These kind of lines give a 2D- relief to the photograph.
POINTS + LINES

This was quite challenging to me. For this last task of this project, we had to hammer down the points we found at task 1 with pins and connect those pins with white thread. I could go through and wrap pins as much we want. It gives a 3D-relief to the photograph.
This is a full developments of this topic!
