Hi all :D
We tried studio lighting shoot last time but, this week, we were to try out outdoor portrait shooting!
For this practice, were had to split into groups of six (Chloe, Jasmine, DongYong, Xiao Shi, Issac and I) and, we also had to make a huge reflector by ourselves with unwanted board and aluminium foils.
Before we started shooting, Mr. Martin gave us some tips for outdoor shooting :
To achieve soft/blurred background:
1. F1.8 - F4 is the best.
2. The further the distant in between, the softer the background.
3. Avoid shooting wide angle, shoot more than 50mm-200mm.
So, these are the outcome :D
We tried to shoot at totally exposed place first.
And then, we tried to shoot at dark place covered with shelter/ceiling.
After shooting, I realised that If the place is dark, it gives more shadow on face and If the place is bright, less shadow on face appears.
