Hi, all :D
This week, we all went to Klang to take street photography for part of our assignment 2! I was really excited to visit Klang because I never been to Klang before :) I think It's just nice place to take photos of local life style in Malaysia.
We were to take photos of people at Little India and try to add some stories in it. Also, as usual, all photos should be taken in monochrome. Since some places were in between indoor and totally outdoor, I constantly had to adjust setting to find proper exposure. (It wasn't easy :\ )
So, take a look at my photos below :D

1/100 F 4.0 ISO 200
1. This photo was the first one that I took at flower shop. Interestingly, I captured his face inside triangle-shaped hanger. Also, the strong colour contrast of white flowers and Indian guy is standing out in this photo. I like his smile haha.

1/100 F 4.0 ISO 200
2. I kind of failed with exposure for this one because it was too bright. However, I like how the son looking at his mother. His mother seems like she is scolding him and the son looks like got scared a bit.(just my view haha)

1/100 F5.0 ISO 100
3. If I have to name this photo, I'll name it as 'Waiting for the right moment'. Because he is waiting for the time to cross the road. I like how I captured the moving car because I like photo with blurry effect.

1/100 F 5.0 ISO 100
4. This one was actually take from very far but I zoomed in a lot. In the photo, she looks like she is waiting for someone because I see two da-bao lunch bags beside her. Also, it gives sense of darkness and loneness as well.

1/100 F 4.5 ISO 200
5. I feel like I failed proper exposure setting for this photo again. (it's not easy T.T) I like the perspective angle behind the old-lady.

1/100 F5.0 ISO 400
6. I think this one was too closed up. Two guys in this photo, looks like they are talking something seriously. Also, side portrait of the old man makes this photo interesting.

I/100 F 8.0 ISO 80
7. Other than people, I enjoyed taking picture of nice and antique building in Klang. I like the structure of this building. However, when it comes to exposure, I think It's still too bright, because I can't really see clouds in the sky.

1/100 F 5.0 ISO 800
8. I captured the moment when he grabs newspaper. For this photo, I had to dump up ISO because it was indoor. Even though the back ground looks kind of messed up, I like how each person is doing something in the photo.

1/100 F 5.0 ISO 200
9. I like the changes in tone from back to front (dark grey to light grey). Other than that, it's also interesting that one guy with black shirt is standing to left side and the other guy is sitting to right side.

1/100 F 6.3 ISO 80
10. This man was the most impressive one among tone of people I saw that day. Not sure about his identity or anything but he looked special to me.
Extras :

Overall, I think previous exercise help me a lot for this shoot because I wasn't shy to take photo of random people in Little India.(perhaps they are just kind and nice :| ) I still feel that finding proper exposure is the most hardest part so far. But I still enjoyed taking street photos!
After we come back from one week break, we are going to Kajang to continue this assignment. I can't wait for it!
Bye Bye and see you guys with next post soon ;D
